Just buy a 5.3 and swap everything over from the existing setup. Then go buy and accumsump and overfill the motor a quart or so when its drifto time.

You need to get your hands on an OBDII diagnostic tool/scanner and check for fault codes. Being able to monitor live sensor readings will also help figure out the problem. | |
