i wanted to first say this is an awesome forum, there is lot of good info here.
here is alittle about my car,
hope you like it.
basic run down:
1996 base 240sx
408 cu in LSx (lq9 block, eagle crank/rods, diamond pistons (11.5-1 C/R), ls6 oil pump, apr everything in the bottom end)
mild ported lq9 heads, springs, retainers, clips, pushrods
ls6 intake, fast fuel rails and 42lb injectors
dual intank walbros, hinson longtubes,
6 spd, spec stage3 clutch
nismo 2 way diff
5 lug swap, z32 brakes, nitto drag radials
the motor sits on custom mounts, parts from the s10 mounts were used, tranny mount is custom.
the shifter sits ~1/2in forward from the center of the oem hole
the body is pretty clean, but it needs alittle work to get it where i want it, but for the most part it is stock. (5% tint, oem lip, ssr rims)
here are a few pics:
car was tuned on 85 octane on friday night, and made 416 hp, 450 tq
i will be switching over to E-85 after a few tanks of 85 oct, so i should seen alittle more tq.
its tuned on HPtuners by www.serviontuning.com
the car ran 12.0 @ 120mph in KY, but i havent had it to the track here yet.
im toying with the idea of twin 60mm turbos, but i think ill run a 100-150 shot for the remainder of this year.
i see most people are drifting lsx 240s, but this will be a drag/street car, (i may try drifting alittle)
if anyone has any info on setting up a 240 as a drag car, or can direct me to a forum where there is 240 drag info, im all ears
getting custom plates that say "ONE CAM" on it
if you have any questions, feel free to ask

you can always check out drag240sx.com
Im building my car for drag as well, changed up the setup a little bit, iron block 370 with a s480 turbo. Should be running soon. Are you familiar with the lsx shootout every year in memphis? I know it may be a hike but I'll be down there and have been trying to get as many lsx powered 240s down there as I can

the link redirects me to http://www.turnofftheinterweb.com/
i know about the lsx shoot out, and since i drove the car back from memphis a few weeks ago, i know the drive.
depending on how work is, i might be able to make it out there. i doubt the car will be boosted this year though, ill probably build the twin setup over winter (which seems like forever in CO)

That would be awesome if you could make GT Live with us. If you have any questions or whatever send me a PM or head to that link. I'm "Tony" on UtahNissans too.
